How do we make a reservation?

Our home is managed by Royal Shell and reservations can be made via their website. They offer an interactive availability calendar and online booking system to make the reservation process quick and easy.

How many bedrooms does the home have and what is the maximum capacity?

Our home accommodates 8 guests and offers a total of four bedrooms: one master bedroom with king-sized bed, two guest rooms each with queen-sized beds, and one guest room with two twin-sized beds.

How many bathrooms does the home have?

Our home offers a powder room on the first floor and three full bathrooms, including one shared and two en suite.

What is the minimum stay requirement?

Per City of Sanibel ordinance, the minimum stay requirement is one month.

Is the boat lift available for use?

The boat lift is not available for guest use at this time, however the dock can accommodate vessels up to 25’ in length and offers direct Gulf access via a short trip on adjoining canals.

Is the home pet-friendly?

While we love furry friends, at this time we do not permit pet guests.

What information will we receive when we arrive?

Upon check in at Royal Shell, guests will receive a welcome packet and house keys. We have also prepared a welcome guide with details and important information about our home and the local area, as well as suggestions of things to do during your stay.

What is there to do on Sanibel Island?

From sunbathing and hunting for the elusive Junonia seashell on pristine white-sand beaches, or taking a ride through the J. N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, to events such as crafting with the Shellcrafters at The Community House or Yoga and Calming Tea Ceremonies at The Treehouse, there is plenty to see and do on Sanibel Island. The SanCap Chamber of Commerce provides an Events Calendar with upcoming activities and events you won’t want to miss.

Where can we access the beach?

There are several beach access points throughout the island available for use by the general public. Information about beaches, including rules and guidelines and a map denoting public access points, can be found on the City’s of Sanibel’s website.

What is the island like?

Sanibel Island is a small, quiet island community and is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle to relax and renew. Many residents and visitors rise early in the morning to take a stroll or bike ride on the many shared-use paths, grab an ideal spot on the beach, or visit a local eatery for breakfast. Life winds down fairly early with most restaurants closing between 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a few exceptions. If you are looking for a quiet tropical escape, Sanibel Island is the perfect place!
